The following terms and conditions apply to the Lewis & Pearl You Scent It App (hereby known as “You Scent It App” or “App”) and it users (hereby known as “users” or “participants”), as set forth by Green Cross Incorporated and Lowe Philippines (collectively known as the “Organizers”). In order to use the App, participants must fully agree to these terms and conditions, as follows:

WHO CAN JOIN?

Participants must:

be Filipino citizens, currently residing in the Philippines;
be at least 13 years of age;
be contactable via email, Facebook or mobile phone/landline; have a Facebook user account, is a fan of the official Lewis and Pearl Cologne Facebook fan page (http://www.facebook.com/lewisandpearlcologne), has allowed access to the You Scent It App on the Lewis & Pearl fan page and has participated in the app.

FOR PARTICIPANTS

How to join?
1. To become a fan of the official Lewis & Pearl fan page, one must click the “Like” button of the said page.
2. Participants using the app must provide a valid address of the postcard recipients.
3. Participants should choose among pre-designed postcard with different scents and type in a personalized message for their intended recipient. The message should not be more than 200 characters. The app inscribes the message on the back of the chosen postcard, along with the address. An actual postcard is then hand-delivered to the specified address.
4. A participant may send a maximum of 6 entries of any postcard design theme, provided there is no duplication of entries (i.e. 6 postcards with the same postcard design theme, same recipient, same message and same address). Duplicates will not be considered as valid entries.
5. Entries should not contain profanity, malicious, seditious, obscene, political and religious content, or statements and threats that are derogatory or offensive to Lewis & Pearl Philippines (“Lewis & Pearl”), its products, other people, or groups. Organizers reserve the right to use or share entries deemed to be exceptional, and remove the ones deemed offensive without any prior notice. Entries containing those mentioned and with incomplete or falsified information will automatically be disqualified from the promo.
Participants will be asked to provide the following information:
1. Participant's Name
2. Participant’s Email Address, Telephone/Mobile Number
3. Recipient’s Name
4. Recipient’s Home Address
By supplying the above information, the participants guarantee that they, and all the persons featured in their entries, have freely participated in the promotion. The information provided by participants will be kept private and made secure by all reasonable means by Green Cross Incorporated and its agency, Lowe Philippines. It will only be used for the purposes of this promotion. The organizers however will neither be responsible nor liable for any claims, demands or damages resulting from malicious or unauthorized access of this information.
When is the promo?
1. The You Scent It App runs form September 18, 2012 – December 31, 2012.
2. The raffle promo within the App will run from October 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012.
How do I win?
1. Among the You Scent It App registrants from October 1, 2012 – December 31, 2012, an electronic raffle will be drawn.
2. The raffle draw will be on January 10, 2013.
3. Provision:
  1. Drawn winner will be subject to further verification by Green Cross Incorporated to authenticate qualification in the raffle promo.
  2. Participant can only win once.

PRIZES, ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS AND REDEMPTION

Items:
1. Ten (10) winners of Eiffel Tower vintage necklaces.
2. Five (5) winners of travel kits.
Winners will be initially notified through their email, Facebook account or mobile phone/landline regarding the distribution of their prize.
Winners must confirm receipt of notification within one (1) week from date of notification. If no confirmation is made within one (1) week, the prize will be forfeited. Green Cross Incorporated reserves the right to conduct another draw in the presence of an FDA representative. The decision of Green Cross Incorporated, with the concurrence of FDA shall be considered final.
List of winners will be posted on the Lewis & Pearl Facebook page.
Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash. Change or upgrade of the item is not allowed.

OTHERS

Once the participant has sent a postcard via the You Scent It App, a confirmation will be sent to them via email or text. This confirmation will indicate that the postcard has been screened and accepted by Lewis & Pearl, and is now being prepared for printing and delivery.
The Organizers do not guarantee that the postcards will be delivered to the recipients immediately after the participants have created the postcards in the App. Postcards will be handled and delivered to the best of the organizers’ ability.
The You Scent It App is designed for entertainment and recreational purposes only and should not be used as a tool for sending emergency messages or information that is confidential in nature.
Participants may be contacted by the organizers for updates on their postcards, as well as to conduct a quick survey regarding their experience with the app.
The organizers will exercise to the best of their abilities, the care and expediency of delivering the postcards. However, they will not be held liable for the delay, damage, loss, or non-delivery to the postcards ordered through the App.
Employees of Green Cross Incorporated and their relatives up to the 4th level of consanguinity; Green Cross Incorporated 3rd party service providers and business partners; are disqualified from participating.
Green Cross Incorporated reserves the right to use any or all entries for marketing and advertising purposes.
The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Participants fully release Facebook for any and all liabilities and injuries that may result from their participation in this promotion.
